We have had little success in the
past utilizing typical postcard campaigns. In fact, we recently worked one
territory quite aggressively for a year and received no responses. However, I
decided to give the Market Builder program a try because I noticed it was not
just a postcard campaign. Instead, the postcards were just one aspect of a fully
integrated farming system with a strong call to action.
We went online October 12th to set
up our Market Builder account and to target our farming territory. The
personalized postcards were sent out three days later and we had our first
response just a few days after that. We are currently experiencing a response
per every 30 postcards. I think this is working better then our last initiatives
largely because of the strong value proposition that the Market Snapshot brings
to my prospects. While our phone number is on every card, interested parties
simply go online to request an immediate, personalized online local market
report.
Branded as if I created it, the
Market Snapshot they receive is sent to the buyer or seller prospect within a
few minutes. Their contact information is also automatically captured into our
Top Producer 7i account, creating a new lead for us to nurture. My Market
Snapshot is now automatically being sent to these prospects as often as they
request. This process is going a long way to help position us as the local
market experts.

When I heard about the simplicity,
automation and the fact that I can actually measure the success rate of the Market
Builder program, I felt compelled to subscribe. I was also impressed by the
fact that I can specifically target the exact neighborhoods that I want and
easily remove the homes that I don’t want to farm.
Top Producer sends out 40
postcards per week. They are currently sending out the third round this week and
I have been very impressed with the response rate so far. I received 5 solid
requests from last week’s 40 postcards. Like most of us, I still send out a
batch of monthly postcards of my own, but unlike with the Market Builder
program, I find it very difficult to measure the results - if any.
The process requires almost no
effort on my part. I receive an email notifying me of new requests and all the
prospect’s personal contact and home details are automatically saved in my Top
Producer 7i account. I am currently following up with an email or a phone call.
I have created an automated action plan in my 7i account to follow up with these
new requests which includes email, personal phone calls and additional
postcards.
I had subscribed to the Market
Snapshot before subscribing to Market Builder. However I never had the time to
truly understand all the aspects of Market Snapshot and how I could leverage it
to help me succeed in other areas of my marketing. Having experienced its
effectiveness working with Market Builder, I am now going to start implementing
the Market Snapshot for a lot of other marketing
initiatives.
